SHURUSH'S MISSION The Shurush Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization using small loans and business training to improve the economic situation in the Middle East, while also establishing business relationships between Arab and Jewish entrepreneurs.

THE MEANING OF "SHURUSH" Shurush, which means "roots" in both Arabic and Hebrew, is planting the roots of hope, cooperation, and opportunity in the region through microloans that change lives.
Serving as a bridge between concerned citizens of the world and
the Middle East, Shurush is using business as a tool for social change.
